Kabu Vision(hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) sets forth this Privacy Policy (hereinafter the “Policy”) regarding the handling of User Information, including personal information about Users, in connection with the service provided by the Company (hereinafter the “Service”), as follows.

1. User Information Collected and Collection Methods

In this Policy, “User Information” means information relating to the identification of a User, behavioral history on communication services, and other information generated or accumulated in connection with a User or a User's device, which the Company collects under this Policy. The User Information collected by the Company in connection with the Service is as follows, depending on the method of collection.
  1. (1) Information provided by the User
    The information provided by the User in order to use the Service, or through the use of the Service, is as follows.
    1. Information relating to the User's profile, such as name, date of birth, gender, and occupation
    2. Information relating to contact details, such as email address, phone number, and address
    3. Information relating to payment methods, such as credit card information, bank account information, and electronic money information
    4. Still image information including the User's likeness
    5. Information entered or transmitted by the User through input forms or other methods designated by the Company
  2. (2) Information provided from other services that the User has permitted to be linked in connection with the use of the Service
    If a User permits linkage with other services such as social networking services when using the Service, the Company collects the following information from such external services based on the content the User agreed to at the time of permission.
    1. The ID used by the User on the relevant external service
    2. Other information that the User has allowed to be disclosed to the linked service through the privacy settings of that external service
  3. (3) Information collected by the Company in connection with the User's use of the Service
    The Company may collect information relating to access to, and the manner of use of, the Service. This includes the following information.
    1. Referrer, IP address, and information relating to server access logs
    2. Cookies, ADID, IDFA, and other identifiers
  4. (4) Information collected by the Company based on the User's individual consent in connection with the User's use of the Service
    If the User individually consents by the method set forth in 3.1, the Company will collect the following information from the device being used.

The specific purposes for which User Information relating to the provision of the Service is used are as follows.
  1. (1) To provide, maintain, protect, and improve the Service, including accepting registration for the Service, identity verification, User authentication, recording User settings, and calculating payment of usage fees
  2. (2) To measure User traffic and behavior
  3. (3) To deliver and display advertisements and measure their effectiveness
  4. (4) To provide information about the Service and respond to inquiries
  5. (5) To respond to acts that violate the Company's terms, policies, etc. relating to the Service (hereinafter the “Terms, etc.”)
  6. (6) To notify Users of changes to the Terms, etc. relating to the Service

3. Methods of Notification, Announcement, or Obtaining Consent, and Methods of Requesting Suspension of Use

The specific purposes for which User Information relating to the provision of the Service is used are as follows.
  1. The Company shall obtain the User's consent before collecting the following User Information.

By making the prescribed settings for the Service, the User may request that the Company stop collecting or using all or part of the User Information, in which case the Company will promptly stop such use in accordance with its own rules. However, for certain items of User Information, since their collection or use is a precondition for the Service, the Company will only stop such collection or use if the User withdraws from the Service by the method prescribed by the Company.

5. Provision to Third Parties

The Company will not provide personal information among the User Information to third parties (including those located outside Japan) without the User's prior consent, except where it is necessary to provide it to third parties (including those located outside Japan) as set forth below.
  1. (1) Where the Company outsources all or part of the handling of personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use
  2. (2) Where personal information is provided in connection with the succession of business due to a merger or other reasons
  3. (3) Where personal information is provided to a partner or an information collection module provider pursuant to Section 4
  4. (4) Where it is necessary to cooperate with a national government agency, a local government, or a person entrusted by either of them in executing affairs prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the User's consent is likely to impede the execution of such affairs
  5. (5) Other cases permitted under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (hereinafter the “Personal Information Protection Act”) or other laws and regulations

6. Disclosure of Personal Information

When a User requests disclosure of personal information based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act, the Company will, after confirming that the request is made by the User in person, disclose such information to the User without delay (if such personal information does not exist, the Company will notify the User to that effect). However, this shall not apply where the Company is not obligated to disclose such information under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations. Please note that a fee (1,000 yen per request) will be charged for disclosure of personal information.

7. Correction and Suspension of Use of Personal Information

  1. Where a User requests (1) correction of personal information on the grounds that it is not accurate, based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act, or (2) suspension of use of personal information on the grounds that it is being handled beyond the scope of the previously announced purpose of use or that it was collected by deception or other wrongful means, based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act, the Company will, after confirming that the request is made by the User in person, promptly conduct the necessary investigation and, based on the results, correct the content of the personal information or suspend its use, and notify the User accordingly. If the Company decides not to make the correction or suspend the use, it will notify the User to that effect.
  2. Where a User requests deletion of the User's personal information, and the Company determines that it is necessary to comply with the request, the Company will, after confirming that the request is made by the User in person, delete the personal information and notify the User accordingly.
  3. Where the Company is not obligated to make corrections or suspend use under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws and regulations, the provisions of 7.1 and 7.2 shall not apply.

9. Procedure for Changing the Privacy Policy

The Company will amend this Policy as necessary. However, where an amendment to this Policy requires the User's consent under laws and regulations, the amended Policy will apply only to Users who have consented to the amendment by the method prescribed by the Company. When the Company amends this Policy, it will announce the effective date and content of the amended Policy by displaying it on the Company's website or by other appropriate means, or will notify Users.
